Nebraska High School Basketball - Cross County overwhelms East Butler

The Cross County Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting East Butler Tigers to 30 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cougars now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Nebraska Lutheran for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Cross County will confront a Knights team coming off a 39-31 non-league loss to High Plains (Polk, NE). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, East Butler falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Twin River (Genoa, NE) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Titans go into the game with a record of 10-6. Twin River won 59-37 in their recent non-league game against Meridian (Daykin, NE)
