Nebraska High School Basketball - Cross County overwhelms East Butler

The Cross County Cougars basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting East Butler Tigers to 18 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 20-2 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Cross County will confront a Broncos team coming off a 47-34 non-league win over Heartland (Henderson, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, East Butler falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 6-14. Shelby-Rising City lost 58-23 in their recent non-league game against Thayer Central (Hebron, NE)
