In their last challenge, Corpus Christi Moody dropped by Miller (Corpus Christi, TX), 88-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, January 31. King will attempt to better on its 13-18 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 11-20 record after their 64-52 league loss to Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX).
