In Friday's league contest, the visiting Ray Texans basketball team scored a big 94-61 triumph over the King Mustangs.
The Texans (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX). The Hornets go into the 5A Region IV District 29 contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Flour Bluff smashed Sinton (Sinton, TX), 47-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. King will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Matadors go into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 59-58 league loss to Jefferson (San Antonio, TX).
