Nevada High School Basketball - Mineral County nudges Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage

In Monday's league outing, the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) basketball squad nipped the visiting Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams (Yerington, NV), by a margin of 27-20.

The Serpents (3-12) will now prepare for their outing against Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Bulldogs go into the 1A West outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Smith Valley got by Sage Ridge (Reno, NV), 47-35, in a league outing.

The Rams now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Pyramid Lake for a 1A West outing on Tuesday, January 30. Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 56-15 league win over Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Lakers record now stands at 16-4.
