In Thursday's league match, the host Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams basketball team scored a tight 37-34 triumph over the Mineral County Serpents.

With the defeat, Mineral County moves to 3-17 on the year. The Serpents host Sage Ridge (Reno, NV) to meet the Scorpions in a 1A West match on Saturday, February 10. The Scorpions enter the match with a record of 7-6. Sage Ridge lost 64-29 in their recent league match against Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV)
