Empire Ravens (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Catalina Trojans (Tucson, AZ), 93-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Empire upgrades its record to 15-10 on the season. The Ravens host Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A South bout on Friday, February 2. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Thatcher won 57-52 in their recent league bout against Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Douglas Bulldogs (Douglas, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Catalina will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 55-37 league win over Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ).
