The Lewiston-Altura Cardinals basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Cotter Ramblers to 59 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Charles for a AA Section 1 contest on Friday, February 2. Lewiston-Altura will battle a Fighting Saints team coming off a 94-84 league win over Triton (Dodge Center, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 10-11.

The Ramblers (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Caledonia nudged La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI), 71-64, in a non-league contest.
