Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN), 63-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lewiston-Altura upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host La Crescent (La Crescent, MN) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Ramblers play the St. Charles Fighting Saints (St. Charles, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Cotter will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
