The Grape Creek Eagles basketball team (San Angelo, TX), was overwhelmed 82-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Jim Ned Indians (Tuscola, TX)
The Indians now possess a 21-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Merkel for a 3A Region I District 6 battle on Friday, February 2. Jim Ned will confront a Badgers team coming off a 67-62 league win over Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 12-10.
The Eagles (9-17) will now prepare for their battle against Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region I District 6 battle with a 17-9 record. In their last battle, Clyde was overwhelmed by Wall (Wall, TX), 45-37, in a league battle.
