The Indians (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Merkel (Merkel, TX). The Badgers go into the 3A Region I District 6 test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Merkel was trounced by Coahoma (Coahoma, TX), 72-57, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Clyde for a 3A Region I District 6 test on Tuesday, January 9. Grape Creek will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-45 league loss to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-7.
