Mississippi High School Basketball - Gautier knocked off by Stone

The Stone Tomcats basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting Gautier Gators to 25 in the Tomcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tomcats now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laurel for a 5A Region 4 contest on Friday, February 2. Stone will meet a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 56-35 non-league win over Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 21-3.
The Gators (6-18) will now prepare for their contest against Gulfport (Gulfport, MS). The Admirals enter the non-league contest with a 6-21 record. In their last contest, Gulfport was outscored by D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS), 55-37, in a league contest.
