In Monday's league outing, the Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS) basketball squad felled the host Gautier Gators (Gautier, MS), by a margin of 45-36.
The Tomcats (15-12) will now prepare for their outing against Laurel (Laurel, MS). The Golden Tornadoes go into the non-league outing with a 22-3 record. In their last outing, Laurel thwarted Stone (Wiggins, MS), 80-18, in a league outing.
The Gators now own a 6-20 record.
