The Lions (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Mountaineers go into the Super Essex - American outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, West Orange smashed Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ), 58-48, in a non-league outing.

The Minutemen now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they host University for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1. Newark Academy will clash with a Phoenix squad coming off a 81-37 non-league win over Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ). The Phoenix record now stands at 15-2.
