Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ), 86-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Immaculate Conception upgrades its record to 21-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ) to play the Minutemen in a Super Essex - American bout on Monday, February 12. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Newark Academy won 62-46 in their recent non-league bout against Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ)

Next up, the Minutemen play the Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, February 11. Newark Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Crimson go into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to High Point (Sussex, NJ).
