New Jersey High School Basketball - Newark Academy topped by Immaculate Conception

The Immaculate Conception Lions basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Newark Academy Minutemen to 51 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DePaul Catholic for a non-league contest on Monday, February 26. Immaculate Conception will battle a Spartans team coming off a 49-23 non-league loss to Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 9-10.
The Minutemen (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against Kent Place (Summit, NJ). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Kent Place prevailed over Pioneer Academy (Wayne, NJ), 66-14, in a non-league contest.
