The Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) basketball felled the visiting Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), 53-42 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (11-20) will now prepare for their test against Harlan (San Antonio, TX). The Hawks go into the 6A Region IV District 29 test with a 26-4 record. In their last test, Harlan thwarted Holmes (San Antonio, TX), 63-32, in a league test.

The Huskies now own a 15-18 record. They play next when they host Harlan for a 6A Region IV District 29 test on Friday, February 3. Holmes will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 59-24 league win over Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 25-4.
