Arkansas High School Basketball - Monticello can't hold off Crossett

The Crossett Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Monticello Billies to 36 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a 4A Region 8 contest on Friday, February 2. Crossett will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 63-55 league loss to Watson Chapel (Pine Bluff, AR). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 7-4.
The Billies (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against Watson Chapel (Pine Bluff, AR). The Wildcats come into the 4A Region 8 contest with a 9-11 record.
