The Monticello Billies basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Crossett Eagles to 32 in the Billies non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Billies now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheridan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Monticello will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 50-48 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-1.
The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hermitage (Hermitage, AR). The Hermits enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Hermitage was defeated by Smackover (Smackover, AR), 67-46, in a non-league contest.
