The Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA) basketball were winner over the visiting Springdale Dynamos (Springdale, PA), 54-39 in Friday's league bout.
The Jayhawks now possess a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Greensburg Central Catholic for a WPIAL 2A 1 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Jeannette will play a Centurions team coming off a 74-34 league win over Clairton (Clairton, PA). The Centurions record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Springdale falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Dynamos host California (Coal Center, PA) to play the Trojans in a WPIAL 2A 1 bout on Monday, February 3. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-12. California lost 66-58 in their recent league bout against Frazier (Perryopolis, PA)
