The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA) and the host Springdale Dynamos (Springdale, PA), observed Jeannette's basketball team overwhelm Springdale by a margin of 70-40.

The Jayhawks (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Centurions come into the WPIAL 2A 1 challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Greensburg Central Catholic trounced Riverview (Oakmont, PA), 77-58, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dynamos battle the Frazier Commodores (Perryopolis, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Springdale will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Commodores come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 67-43 league win over California (Coal Center, PA).
