Georgia High School Basketball - Jenkins County trounced by Savannah

The Jenkins County War Eagles basketball squad (Millen, GA), was crushed 63-38 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA)

With the victory, Savannah advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Bluejackets travel to Claxton (Claxton, GA) to meet the Tigers in a A D2 Region 3 battle on Saturday, February 1. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 5-12. Claxton lost 57-54 in their recent league battle against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)

The War Eagles now own a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Screven County for a A D2 Region 3 battle on Saturday, February 1. Jenkins County will meet a Gamecocks squad coming off a 66-64 league loss to Savannah (Savannah, GA). The Gamecocks record now stands at 8-10.
