Washington, DC High School Basketball - St. John's routs St. Mary's Ryken

In Friday's league contest, the host St. John's Cadets basketball team scored a big 86-27 triumph over the St. Mary's Ryken Knights.
The Cadets (16-7) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions go into the DCSAA AA contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Carroll was trounced by DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD), 74-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Knights confront the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) in a Washington Catholic contest, on Saturday, February 1. St. Mary's Ryken will attempt to better on its 5-18 season record. The Stags go into the contest with a 16-5 record after their 66-55 league win over Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD).
