The Carrizozo Grizzlies basketball team (Carrizozo, NM), was toppled 56-38 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM)
The Eagles now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountainair for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. Quemado will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 46-36 non-league loss to Animas (Animas, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-6.
The Grizzlies (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Reserve (Reserve, NM). The Mountaineers come into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Reserve was toppled by Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM), 53-27, in a non-league battle.
