The Naperville North Huskies basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs to 37 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evergreen Park for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Naperville North will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 69-60 non-league win over Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-5.

The Mustangs (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks enter the DuPage Valley contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Naperville Central was nudged by DeKalb (DeKalb, IL), 55-25, in a league contest.
