Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL), 53-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Metea Valley upgrades its record to 18-10 on the season. The Mustangs host Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to clash with the Redhawks in a DuPage Valley bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 9-21. Naperville Central lost 62-30 in their recent league bout against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Naperville North will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 5-21 record after their 57-34 league loss to Cary-Grove (Cary, IL).
