Virginia High School Basketball - James Monroe topples Culpeper County

In Friday's league outing, the James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA), by a count of 75-63.

The Yellow Jackets (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Cougars go into the Battlefield outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Courtland was topped by Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA), 57-6, in a league outing.

The Blue Devils now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Eastern View for a Battlefield outing on Tuesday, January 9. Culpeper County will clash with a Cyclones squad coming off a 42-38 league loss to Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Cyclones record now stands at 2-9.
