Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE), 54-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Freeman upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Johnson County Central lost 60-25 in their recent league bout against Freeman (Adams, NE)

Next up, the Trojans play the Johnson-Brock Eagles (Johnson, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Tri County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 66-38 league win over Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE).
