The Oak Grove Panthers softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Clinton Cardinals to 0 in the Panthers league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrisonville for a Class 3 District 14 battle on Wednesday, October 2. Oak Grove will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 13-0 league loss to Odessa (Odessa, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-14.

With the loss, Clinton moves to 6-14 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO) to encounter the Roosters/Chicks in a Class 3 District 14 battle on Thursday, October 3. The Roosters/Chicks come into the battle with a record of 12-9. Pleasant Hill won 15-3 in their recent league battle against Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO)
