Ohio High School Soccer - Firelands knocks off Wellington

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Firelands Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Wellington Dukes.
The Falcons (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Oberlin (Oberlin, OH). The The Phoenix come into the Lorain County 8 test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Oberlin edged Keystone (La Grange, OH), 6-0, in a league test.
The Dukes now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Columbia for a Lorain County 8 test on Saturday, October 4. Wellington will play a Raiders squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Brooklyn (Brooklyn, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 13-2.
