West Virginia High School Volleyball - Buckhannon-Upshur over Lewis County

Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 2-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Buccaneers clash with the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a Big Ten match, on Thursday, October 12. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to advance on its 9-15 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 28-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV).

With the loss, Lewis County drops to 13-12 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Gilmer County (Glenville, WV) to clash with the Titans in a non-league match on Thursday, October 12. The Titans come into the match with a record of 6-8. Gilmer County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Ripley (Ripley, WV)
