The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) and the host Center Roughriders (Center, TX), saw Henderson's volleyball squad beat Center by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Henderson upgrades its record to 23-13 on the year. The Lions travel to Spring Hill (Longview, TX) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 34-4. Spring Hill won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Gilmer (Gilmer, TX)

The Roughriders now own a 13-21 record. They play next when they host Kilgore for a 4A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, October 17. Center will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-19.
