Connecticut High School Volleyball - Morgan tips North Branford

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) and the visiting North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT), observed Morgan's volleyball team hold off North Branford by a count of 3-2.

The Huskies (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Noises enter the Shoreline contest with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Hale Ray tipped Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Thunderbirds now own a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Hampton for a Shoreline battle on Friday, October 17. North Branford will encounter a Bellringers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Portland (Portland, CT). The Bellringers record now stands at 12-4.
