North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashe County over Alexander Central

Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Huskies battle the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A match, on Wednesday, October 4. Ashe County will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 11-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).

With the loss, Alexander Central drops to 3-13 on the campaign. The Cougars host Watauga (Boone, NC) to battle the Pioneers in a Northwestern 3A/4A match on Wednesday, October 4. The Pioneers come into the match with a record of 14-2. Watauga won 3-0 in their recent league match against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC)
