North Carolina High School Volleyball - Alexander Central crushed by Ashe County

The Ashe County Huskies topped the host Alexander Central Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Huskies now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hibriten for a Northwestern 3A/4A test on Monday, September 18. Ashe County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-3.

The Cougars (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Foard (Newton, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Foard was knocked off by West Iredell (Statesville, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
