Nebraska High School Volleyball - Grand Island over Lincoln High

The Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE) volleyball knocked off the visiting Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Islanders now possess a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Bellevue East for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. Grand Island will clash with a Chieftains team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lincoln Northwest (Lincoln, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Lincoln High drops to 3-20 on the campaign. The Links host Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE) to clash with the Silver Hawks in a A District bout on Thursday, October 9. The Silver Hawks come into the bout with a record of 14-6. Lincoln Southwest lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Millard West (Omaha, NE)
