Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Argo upgrades its record to 16-14 on the campaign. The Argonauts travel to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL) to play the Spartans in a South Suburban challenge on Tuesday, October 21. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 20-8. Oak Lawn lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL)

Next, the Thunderbirds play the Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL) in a Southland challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Thornwood will attempt to upgrade on its 17-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bremen (Midlothian, IL).
