In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Salem Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cave Spring Knights.

The Spartans (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Patrick Henry was defeated by Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 2-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hidden Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. Cave Spring will face a Titans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Titans record now stands at 14-1.
