The Patriots go into the test with a record of 6-7. Patrick Henry lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA)

Next, the Spartans play the Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA).
