The Spartans now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Blacksburg for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. Salem will play a Bruins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 5-3.

The Knights (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Patrick Henry was dropped by Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
