Illinois High School Volleyball - Guilford tips Hononegah

The Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) volleyball held off the host Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 22-9 record. They play next when they travel to Harlem for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout on Thursday, October 23. Guilford will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 2-1 league win over Jefferson (Rockford, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 9-23.

With the loss, Hononegah falls to 21-13 on the year. The Indians host Freeport (Freeport, IL) to confront the Pretzels in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 match on Thursday, October 23. The Pretzels enter the match with a record of 10-20. Freeport won 2-0 in their recent league match against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL)
