Illinois High School Volleyball - Guilford tips Hononegah

September 18, 2025: Rockford, IL 61114

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Guilford Vikings volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Hononegah Indians.

The Vikings (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 15-1 record. In their last challenge, Aurora Christian edged St. Edward (Elgin, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Hononegah will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Pretzels come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 2-1 league win over Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL).
