The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) and the host Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), saw George C. Marshall's volleyball squad beat Washington-Liberty by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, George C. Marshall upgrades its record to 13-6 on the year. The Statesmen host Langley (McLean, VA) to play the Saxons in a Liberty bout on Thursday, October 5. The Saxons go into the test with a record of 14-2. Langley won 3-0 in their recent league test against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)

The Generals (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Warriors enter the Liberty test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Wakefield gained a win over Yorktown (Arlington, VA), 3-2, in a league test.
