The George C. Marshall Statesmen volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals to 0 in the Statesmen league victory on Thursday.
The Statesmen now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Langley for a Liberty game on Monday, September 11. George C. Marshall will meet a Saxons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Saxons record now stands at 6-1.
The Generals (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Centreville was dropped by Fairfax (Fairfax, VA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
