With the win, Shepard improves its record to 13-7 on the season. The Astros travel to Jones (Chicago, IL) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 13-9. Jones won 2-0 in their recent league test against Westinghouse (Chicago, IL)

The Braves now own a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evergreen Park for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Bremen will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-4.
