Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) and the host Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE), observed Lincoln Southeast's volleyball team hold off Lincoln Northeast by a count of 2-1.

The Knights (6-18) will now prepare for their contest against Marian (Omaha, NE). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Marian got by Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Rockets battle the Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 4. Lincoln Northeast will attempt to move on its 9-11 season record. The Storm enter the contest with a 14-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE).
