North Carolina High School Volleyball - Middle Creek bounced by Cardinal Gibbons

Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Cardinal Gibbons improves its record to 18-3 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Sanderson (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Spartans in a Triangle Six 6A/7A challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-14. Sanderson lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC)

Next, the Mustangs meet the Cary Imps (Cary, NC) in a Triangle Six 6A/7A challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Middle Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Imps come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 3-2 league loss to Felton Grove (Apex, NC).
