The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 13-2 record. They play next when they host Sanderson for a Triangle Six 6A/7A bout on Tuesday, September 23. Cardinal Gibbons will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Middle Creek drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Cary (Cary, NC) to battle the Imps in a Triangle Six 6A/7A match on Tuesday, September 23. The Imps enter the match with a record of 3-9. Cary lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Felton Grove (Apex, NC)
