Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) followers went home satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad triumph over the host Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM), 3-0 in a league game.

Next up, the Eagles face the Wingate Bears (Fort Wingate, NM) in a 3A District 1 game, on Thursday, October 9. Navajo Prep will attempt to advance on its 2-11 season record.

The Thunderbirds (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM). The Eagles go into the 3A District 1 outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Crownpoint lost by Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
