The Crownpoint Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Navajo Prep Eagles to 1 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Thoreau for a 3A District 1 outing on Thursday, November 7. Crownpoint will play a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 16-6.
With the loss, Navajo Prep drops to 7-17 on the campaign. The Eagles host Newcomb (Newcomb, NM) to play the Skyhawks in a 3A District 1 outing on Thursday, November 7. The Skyhawks come into the outing with a record of 3-19. Newcomb lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Zuni (Zuni, NM)
